Privacy Policy
Church Volleyball League respects the privacy of players, coaches, hosts, families, volunteers and visitors who use our website and mobile app.

Information we collect
Public mobile app use. Most league information can be viewed without signing in. If you choose to share optional app analytics, we may collect an app-generated installation identifier, session identifier, device platform (such as iOS or Android), app version, app launches, screens viewed and features used.
Coach and Host accounts. Authorized Coach and Host users may provide or access account information such as name, email address, role, team or host organization, and information needed to perform league functions available to that role.
Signed-in mobile analytics. If optional analytics are enabled while you are signed in to a Coach or Host portal, analytics events may be associated with your league account identifier and role so the league can understand use of role-based features.
Website analytics. The website may collect basic usage information such as page visited, session/visitor identifiers, referring page, screen size, language and time zone to help us understand website use.
Rules questions. Questions submitted to the Rules Assistant are sent to our league systems and may be processed by the AI service used to answer questions from the current league rules.
How we use information
We use information to operate the league, provide schedules, standings and team information, authenticate authorized Coach and Host users, support score reporting and other permitted portal functions, answer questions about league rules, improve reliability, understand feature usage, and protect the security of our systems.
Church Volleyball League does not sell personal information. We do not use mobile app analytics for advertising, data brokerage or cross-app/site tracking.
Optional mobile app analytics
Church Volleyball mobile app analytics are optional. The app asks for permission before custom usage analytics are sent. Choosing Not Now does not limit normal app features.
You can change your choice at any time in the mobile app under More → Privacy & Analytics. Turning analytics off stops future custom analytics events from being sent by the app.
Service providers
We use service providers to host and operate league systems and to provide features such as email delivery and rules-question processing. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to the league, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
Data retention and security
We retain league and account information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the league, maintain records, resolve disputes, protect our systems and meet applicable obligations. Analytics information may be retained in aggregate or event form for operational and historical reporting.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No internet or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may decline optional mobile analytics or turn them off later in the app. If you have questions about information associated with a Coach or Host account, or want to request access, correction or deletion of information that the league is not required to retain, contact the Commissioner.
Children and youth participants
The league may include youth participants, but the public mobile app is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. Team and roster information used for league administration is handled through authorized league, Coach or Host functions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as league technology or practices change. The effective date shown above will be updated when material changes are published.
